Yeti Tattoo Tales – Loops

When I first started running, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would run a marathon let alone a 100 miler. I started running in high school really to just stay in shape for another sport, but it was then that I really fell in love with running and how it made me feel. I got to push myself and achieve goals I never thought were possible. After completing my first ultra (12-hour 1 mile loop ) I immediately knew this is what I want to be doing and that led me down the path to finding Yeti 100 and training for a 100-miler. After completing Yeti 100 I wanted to celebrate it by getting a tattoo (peep the Yeti and unicorn in the tattoo). And since then not only did my love of running become even more profound, so did my love of collecting tattoos after completing something (cactus tattoo after running Javelina, powerline tattoo after crewing & pacing The Speed Project). My love for the sport grew so much I started a business race directing ultras in southern NJ with my husband, where I get to celebrate so many people’s amazing accomplishments and welcome everyone, no matter their age, size, color, running abilities, to this world.

Thank you for really opening the doors for this awesome community!
